Make sure to spend money to keep your stress level above 40 and use Ounce of Prevention to keep your team’s stress level below 4. Stress and your torch percentage are related – the darker you leave your torch, the more stress will build up while exploring or fighting. Now that you have an effective way to manage stress, you’ll also want to watch your torches. Just stay fighting longer on enemies (don’t kill them) to use the Ounce of Prevention more often and reduce your overall stress to prevent crises. You’ll thank yourself for taking your stress levels seriously.
#Darkest dungeon 2 jester chapter 4 upgrade
Get the Ounce of Prevention for your Plague Doctor and upgrade ASAP. After upgrading it, you will get a -1 Stress bonus. Ounce of Prevention is not a top ability until you upgrade it with Hope. It’s a good backup in a pinch, but the Plague Doctor is what you’ll want. The Man-At-Arms has Bolster, which is a support buff that only has a 50% chance of lowering stress by 1. That makes it almost essential for any run (so far). The Plague Doctor’s Ounce of Prevention will lower your stress by 1 each time it is used for the entire party. There are two classes that can help you manage your stress the Plague Doctor and the Man-At-Arms. Stress management is one of the most important skills in the game and the only way to keep your heroes alive for long. Surviving a crisis drops you to 4-5 stress levels and the cycle continues again. In Darkest Dungeon 2, Tension increases from 1 to 10 – at the age of 10 your character will have a hard time and as a result, may receive new negative questions.
